Zallet

A full-node Zcash wallet written in Rust, built to replace the wallet that was embedded in zcashd. It is still pre-release software.

Zallet's repository describes it as "a full-node Zcash wallet written in Rust," designed to replace the deprecated zcashd embedded wallet. The same README says Zallet is currently in beta, that breaking changes may require recreating a wallet, and that many JSON-RPC methods are not yet implemented.

The zcashd end-of-life page names Zallet Alpha.4 as the release that can migrate a zcashd wallet.dat file, and tells people who depend on that wallet to migrate. The two project pages label the maturity differently (alpha and beta), so check the current release notes before relying on it.

Zallet is a wallet, not a node: operators who only need a node are pointed to Zebra instead.
