What is ZCSH?
ZCSH is Grayscale's Zcash Trust, which trades as a spot Zcash ETF. It holds ZEC directly, giving investors exposure to Zcash's price through a regular brokerage account instead of buying and custodying ZEC themselves.
Where does this data come from?
Every figure on this page — net flow, cumulative inflow, net assets, market price and premium/discount — comes directly from SoSoValue's ETF data API, the same source widely cited by crypto-market news coverage for ETF flow data. ZecZcash doesn't calculate or estimate any of these figures itself.
What does 'net inflow' mean?
The dollar amount of new money that moved into (positive) or out of (negative) ZCSH on a given trading day — new shares created versus redeemed, converted to dollars at that day's price.
Why is today's flow sometimes missing?
ETF flow and asset figures settle on a T+1 basis — the most recent trading day's numbers aren't final until the next business day. This page shows the latest settled figures rather than an unsettled, possibly-incomplete number labeled as final.
What does premium/discount mean?
Whether ZCSH's market price is trading above (premium) or below (discount) the value of the ZEC it actually holds per share. A small premium or discount is normal; a large or persistent one suggests the market price and underlying holdings have diverged.
