ZecZcash is an independent, community-driven information platform dedicated to making Zcash and privacy-preserving digital money easier to discover, understand and follow — for people who are brand new to it and for people who already hold ZEC.
Why ZecZcash exists
Privacy-preserving blockchain technology is genuinely complex — zero-knowledge proofs, shielded pools, protocol upgrades — and most explanations of it are written either for cryptographers or for traders, rarely for someone who just wants a straight answer. ZecZcash exists to close that gap: to take what's happening across the Zcash ecosystem and turn it into information that's clear, current and genuinely useful, without watering down what actually matters.
ZecZcash started as @ZecZcash, the largest Zcash channel and chat community on Telegram, and grew into this site so that the same coverage is searchable, linkable and readable without needing a Telegram account.

ZecZcash is written and maintained by the team behind the ZecZcash Telegram community — not a newsroom, but we hold ourselves to a few plain standards on every page:
Accuracy over speed
We'd rather publish something a little later and get it right than be first and wrong.
Primary sources first
Where possible we link directly to official docs, on-chain data or the original source, not secondhand summaries.
Facts, analysis and opinion — kept separate
We're clear about what's a verifiable fact, what's our read on it, and what's price or market commentary.
No fabricated information
We don't invent quotes, statistics, credentials or people. If we don't know something, we say so or leave it out.
Sourcing: facts that move — network stats, price data, wallet capabilities — link to where they came from and, where relevant, when they were last checked (see our network stats for an example). Nothing here is investment advice.
Corrections: if you spot a factual error, tell us in the Telegram channel or community chat and we'll fix it.
Independent, not official
ZecZcash is not the official Zcash website, and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the Electric Coin Company, the Zcash Foundation, or Zcash Open Development Lab (ZODL). We're an independent community project — our job is explaining Zcash clearly and honestly, not speaking on behalf of the organizations that build it.
