Memo Field
An encrypted note that can be attached to a shielded Zcash transaction.
Zcash shielded transactions can include a memo field — up to 512 bytes of encrypted text sent alongside the payment, readable only by the recipient. This is often used to reference an invoice, order number, or a short message, without exposing that information on the public blockchain.
