- Share shielded: ZEC in the Sprout, Sapling, Orchard and Ironwood pools divided by the total supply at the snapshot block.
- Shielded amount: the same pool total in ZEC, rounded for display.
- 1-day change: the change of the share in percentage points against the previous day's snapshot. It is left out when that day has no verified snapshot.
- Snapshot date and block: the UTC day and block height the figure belongs to, so nobody mistakes a daily figure for a live one.

Questions about the widget
Where does the number come from?
From the same daily snapshots as the ZecZcash Shielded Supply Tracker: the balance of every Zcash value pool at the last block of each UTC day, read from the blockchain and only stored when the pool balances add up to the total supply. The widget never estimates or fills a gap.
How fresh is it?
Each snapshot covers one finished UTC day and is written about an hour and a half after midnight UTC, so the widget normally shows yesterday's figure with its date and block height. If no new snapshot arrives for more than two days, the widget says the update is delayed and shows the date of the last verified snapshot instead of presenting it as current.
Does the widget track my visitors?
No. The widget is a single HTML document with inline styles. It contains no JavaScript, sets no cookies and loads no analytics, fonts or images from anywhere. Its content security policy blocks scripts entirely.
Can I change the size or colours?
Use the dark, light or automatic theme (automatic follows the visitor's system setting). The widget fills the width you give it and is designed for widths from 280 pixels upwards at a height of 200 pixels.
Is it free? What do I have to do?
It is free to embed. Please keep the source line inside the widget as it is. If you write about the figure, a link to the Shielded Supply Tracker helps your readers find the history behind it.
What does 'shielded' include?
The Sprout, Sapling, Orchard and Ironwood pools. Transparent ZEC and the development-fund lockbox are not counted as shielded.
