Zero-Knowledge Proof
A cryptographic method for proving a statement is true without revealing why it's true.
A zero-knowledge proof lets one party (the prover) convince another party (the verifier) that a statement is true, without revealing any information beyond the fact that it's true. Zcash uses a specific, efficient form of zero-knowledge proof called a zk-SNARK to validate shielded transactions without exposing their details.
