Anonymity Set
The group of transactions or users that a given transaction is indistinguishable from.
An anonymity set is the pool of possible participants or transactions that an observer cannot distinguish between. In Zcash, the size and activity of the shielded pool determines the anonymity set for shielded transactions — the more shielded activity there is, the harder it becomes to make statistical inferences about any single transaction.
