Zodl Releases View-Only Accounts for Monitoring ZEC Wallets

Zodl has added view-only accounts to its wallet software, enabling users to track ZEC holdings and transaction history on a device without granting it the ability to spend funds. The feature allows users to import a full viewing key by scanning a QR code or pasting it, then monitor balances, activity, and rename or organize watch-only accounts.

The functionality shipped in Zodl v3.18.0 and remains available in subsequent releases. Zodl notes that while a full viewing key cannot authorize spending, it does reveal sensitive financial information and should be treated as private.
