Zcash could theoretically trade around $4,000–$4,500 per ZEC if its network valuation reached roughly 5% of Bitcoin’s, according to an example discussed by Zach Pandl, Head of Research at Grayscale.
Speaking about the growing importance of financial privacy, Pandl argued that crypto markets still assign a surprisingly low valuation to this use case.
🔐 His thesis: privacy may be undervalued.
Zcash combines a Bitcoin-like monetary model with optional shielded transactions powered by zero-knowledge cryptography — allowing users to protect sensitive financial information on-chain.
If demand for financial privacy continues to grow, Pandl believes the market could eventually assign significantly more value to networks providing it.
Importantly, $4,000–$4,500 is not an official Grayscale price target. It is a hypothetical valuation scenario based on Zcash reaching approximately 5% of Bitcoin’s network value.
