4.9M ZEC NOW SHIELDED — AND THERE’S NO EXIT FEE

Nearly 4.9 million ZEC are now reportedly held within Zcash’s shielded ecosystem — highlighting the growing amount of ZEC using the network’s privacy technology.

Unlike staking or locked-token systems, ZEC entering a shielded pool is not locked. There is no mandatory holding period or exit penalty: users retain control and can transact or move their funds when they choose.

That makes the growing shielded supply particularly interesting.

Rather than simply measuring how much ZEC exists, it provides another perspective on how much value is actively making use of Zcash’s core privacy infrastructure.
